George Place ISPT
George Place comprises three commercial buildings in the heart of Sydney's CDB, 363 and 345 George Street and heritage-listed 24 York Street. After extensive redevelopment, the brand new combined lobby space opened in October 2018, offering the visitors and building tenants sophisticated communal space with exceptional services. The lobby's main feature is its height, capped with impressive skylights delivering an abundance of daylight to the space during the day hours calling the building "Tower of Light". In the evening the perimeter of each skylight gets highlighted with illuminated RGB strips which are programmed based on movement, activity within the lobby. Wall stonework is also synchronized with the lighting design scheme.
3S Lighting manufactured and supplied as per specification various luminaires and elements for this project as custom made LED gear trays for installation behind stone wall cladding; featuring magnetic attachment of the LED modules for future maintenance | LED linear luminaires and custom mounting brackets for skylights | suspended & surface mounted linear ring luminaires for entry lobbies | linear luminaires for bathrooms and lift doors | custom wall mounted DL luminaires on the extended arm.
